Welcome to the Division of         Student Affairs

What’s your dream? What do you want to accomplish? Who do you want to be? I bet each of you can answer these questions, some of you with more specific detail than others can. Thinking about the future is an important part of your development as an adult. It can give you a sense of direction and purpose. Someone once said, "If you don’t know where you want to go, then it doesn't matter what road you take." We in Student Affairs do think it is important that you choose your road carefully. By coming to Radford University, you have already chosen well. Radford University is a road that can take you to your dreams, your accomplishments, and ultimately to who you are and will be.

To help you in this journey, Student Affairs staff want to provide you with all the guideposts and direction you need to make a successful journey from your first-year on campus to graduation and beyond. Our roles are not to achieve for you, but to advocate and support you so that you can achieve to your greatest potential. Your out-of-class time can be among the most important time you spend on campus. You will not only learn life skills, but you will also practice them. You will analyze issues and solve problems. You will make decisions and become leaders.

Look around you. Someone from Student Affairs is standing by, ready to assist you and help point you in the direction of your dreams. Who are we? Check us out on campus.

Norleen Pomerantz, Ph.D.

Vice President for Student Affairs
